Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 8 May 2026. Dreamwings Welfare Foundation (“the Foundation”) values every donation and treats them as a sacred trust. This policy describes when and how we issue refunds.
General principle
Donations are voluntary. As a non-profit, once a donation is received it is committed to program delivery and is generally non-refundable. We make exceptions only in the limited circumstances described below.
When we will issue a refund
- Duplicate transaction. If you accidentally donate the same amount twice within 24 hours, we will refund the duplicate.
- Wrong amount entered. If you can demonstrate (e.g. a screenshot, bank message) that an obvious typographical error caused a much larger amount than intended, we will refund the difference.
- Unauthorised transaction. If you can show that a donation was made without your authorisation, we will refund and report to the payment processor.
How to request a refund
Email foundationdreamwing@gmail.com within 10 days of the donation, with the following:
- Razorpay transaction reference (or the bank reference)
- The amount and date
- The reason for the refund request
- The PAN used while donating, if any
We will review and respond within 5 working days. Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 7–10 working days, subject to the payment processor's timeline.
80G receipts on refunded donations
Refunded donations are not eligible for 80G deduction. If a receipt was already issued, we will void it and notify you in writing.
Cancellation of recurring donations
If you have set up a recurring (monthly) donation, you may cancel future instalments at any time by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect from the next billing cycle; already processed instalments are not refundable except under the conditions above.
